INDIAN INTERNATIONAL TAEKWONDO FEDERATION

This organisation is presided by MR.GUNASEKARAN from the birth place of BOTHIDHARMA called KANCHIPURAM, where he started practicing the noble art TAEKWONDO in the year 1977 under pioneer of taekwondo in india master MOHANATHAS.V a Malasiyan. From 1983 – 1985 he trained under master SHAN ANAND of Malasiya. MR.GUNASEKARAN`S 1<sup>ST</sup> DAN & 2<sup>ND</sup> DAN GRADING was conducted by master LEONG WEI MENG 5<sup>th</sup> DAN, who came to India to promote taekwondo in the year 1985 and 1992 respectively. In 1993 he attended the black belts seminar conducted by FOUNDER OF TAEKWONDO and GRAND MASTER GEN. CHOI HONG HI. In 1994 MR.GUNASEKARAN attended the 6 months intensive training conducted by a north Korean master HWANG HO YONG 5<sup>TH</sup> DAN for senior black belts to train and promote them for international instructors grade by founder`s wish. But he could not attend the grading in 1996, latter political and personal reasons had driven him to hand over the association to one of our seniors. In the year 1998 INDIAN INTERNATIONAL TAEKWONDO FEDERATION was formed by MR.GUNASEKARAN and started practicing independently.IITF joined ITF- administration in 2008 to promote this noble art in the traditional way of founder GEN. CHOI HONG HI. As of now IITF is conducting classes in 4 DOJANGS with five 2^NDdegree and five 1^STdegree black belts .
