Hearty congratulations from the Hong Kong Original Taekwon-Do Council on our members for their recent graduates from the universities. It is an occasion that deserves celebration:-

Mr. Owen Chung, IV Dan, Bachelor of Social Science Education (Honours) (Greater China Studies) from the Hong Kong Institute of Education

Miss Kaki Chan, II Dan, Master of Science in Professional Accounting and Corporate Governance from the City University of Hong Kong

Miss Zig Tong, I Dan, Associate of Arts in Psychology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong

After spending years of efforts, all of you have finally reach this final point, which prove that hard work is the real key to success. Chasing a dream requires your efforts and passion, and you have to strike a balance between your studies and training in Taekwon-do. We know that you have put in a great deal of work and time to get to this point, and we want you to know that we are all very proud of you.

You have also proved to us that we are not only a group of fighters or warriors, but there are many intelligentsias serving around, helping the development of our Council and promotion of Taekwon-do.

As you embark upon and progress through your lives, there are always new challenges to be faced with. We urge you to always remind yourselves the tenants of Taekwon-do – Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control and Indomitable Spirit, which are also the way of your studies, your work and your lives.

We have no doubt that you will continue to serve as worthy ambassadors for the Council as well as the ITF by building upon our reputation for excellence. Again, congratulations to our members and wishing you all a bright future.
