BackInternational Academic Conference for Taekwondo (iACT)

At the International Academic Conference for Taekwondo (iACT) at New Mexico State University, Dr John Johnson (Phoenix Taekwon Do School USA GM Tompkins), and Dr Rob Dziwenka presented the iACT conference package prepared for the sponsors to President Choue at WTF HQ.
iACT was the first time the ITF and WTF
academics have come together to present and participate in a conference. Master George Vitale, Master Suzan Crochet, and Master William Howard
all participated in the conference. Master Suzan Crochet presented at the academic
session, and Master William Howard taught during the physical session of the
conference.
Dr Johnson is engaged with International Association for Taekwondo Research
(IATR / www.jiatr.org), which will host the
International Symposium for Taekwondo Studies in Chelyabinsk, Russia on May
9-10
