April 19-20, 2017 in Bishkek – capital city of Kyrgyzstan was held Taekwon-do ITF International Instructors Course (IIC). IIC was conducted by the President of International Taekwon-do Federation Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa – son of the legendary founder of Taekwon-do General Choi Hong Hi and with participation of Senior Vice-President of the International Taekwon-do Federation Grand Master Volmir Ligay.  IIC was attended by the representatives from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Russia.

After the IIC in Bishkek was held Open Kyrgyzstan Championship that was also attended by the teams from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Russia. President of International Taekwon-do Federation - Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa, Senior Vice-President of the International Taekwon-do Federation Grand Master Volmir Ligay, Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan – Mr. Chynybai Tursunbekov and Head of State Agency on Youth, Physical culture and Sports – Mr. Kanat Amankulov attended Championship as the Honored Guests. In the framework of visit to Bishkek ITF President Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa granted 5th degree to President of the Kyrgyz Republic - Mr. Almazbek Atambaev and Speaker of the Parliament – Mr. Chynybai Tursunbekov and granted 4th degree to the Head of State Agency on Youth, Physical culture and Sports - Mr. Kanat Amankulov .
