On March 15 and 16, 2025, the Venezuelan Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) (Feveti) organized its first International Instructor Course (IIC) in La Guaira, Venezuela. This event was held at the Marriott Playa Grande Hotel. The IIC course was taught by Grandmaster Trevor Nicholls, 9th Dan, Vice President of the International Taekwon-Do Federation, and Master Glenn Horan, 8th Dan, from the United Kingdom.
The course was organized by Master Vicente Perez, 7th Dan, President of FEVETI. It brought together instructors and students from different parts of Venezuela. They had the opportunity to delve into new, advanced updates and new teaching methodologies based on the principles of Taekwon-Do, applying the theory of power. Grandmaster Trevor Nicholls, one of the most respected teachers worldwide in ITF taekwon do, shared his extensive knowledge, highlighting the importance of maintaining traditional values and adapting to modern teaching needs.
For his part, Master Glenn Horan complemented with his high technical level of training in techniques and the functionality of the techniques. For his part, Master Vicente Perez, host and organizer of the event, expressed his satisfaction with the success of the IIC course expressed by all the students who attended the event.
This IIC course strengthens our capabilities as instructors and also unites us as a practicing community of taekwon do and motivates us to continue promoting ITF taekwon do in Venezuela and the world. With this first IIC course, FEVETI reaffirms its commitment to teaching ITF Taekwon Do in Venezuela, working with the direction and mentorship of the International Taekwon Do Federation led by our Grandmaster Choi Jung Hwa, president of our organization worldwide
